Thanks to their lightly sheer tint and mirror shine, Active Glow™ polishes create a healthy glow effect for beautiful, radiant hands. You can build up the color's intensity by layering coats of polish, following the layering technique. Feel free to play with the results depending on the desired look and create your custom manicure. However, we recommend applying:

How does the glow manicure work?
Whether for an occasional manicure or as part of your care routine, the glow manicure is super easy to adopt.
How to use Active Glow™
As with any proper manicure, start with proper nail prep:
- File nails with a nail file for natural nails to shape them as desired.
- Soften cuticles with a drop of Effective Emollient, then push them back using a cuticle pusher or a birchwood stick.
- Buff nails with a prep file to smooth the nail surface and optimize polish adherence.
Then apply one coat of your chosen Active Glow™ polish directly, without base coat or top coat, and let it air dry. You can add 1 or 2 additional coats depending on the desired effect. Active Glow™ polish lasts for around one week.
Removing it couldn't be simpler: all you need is an acetone-free gentle remover that is completely safe for your nails. Soak a cotton pad, leave it on for a few seconds, then gently wipe away until the polish is fully removed. Your natural nails are revitalized, ready for a fresh manicure with a classic polish, a gel polish, or perhaps another Active™ polish!
