What is the difference between an acetone-based remover and a non-acetone remover?

An acetone-based remover often works faster on nail polish, but it can also be more drying for the nail and the surrounding skin. A non-acetone remover is generally gentler and more comfortable for everyday use. It is particularly suitable for fragile, dry, or sensitive nails.

Is a non-acetone remover effective on all types of nail polish?

A non-acetone remover is effective for removing most classic nail polishes. However, depending on the formula and wear of the polish, removal may take a bit longer than with an acetone-based remover. For more resistant polishes, it is preferable to use a product specifically designed for this purpose.

How can you use a remover without damaging nails and cuticles?

To gently remove your polish, soak a cotton pad with remover and place it on the nail for a few minutes using a removal clip. The polish will dissolve and come off in a peel-off manner. Gently wipe away any residue. Avoid scraping or filing to prevent weakening the nail surface and surrounding area. After removal, apply a nourishing treatment to the nails and cuticles to maintain their comfort.
