A cuticle emollient is a treatment that softens and hydrates the skin around the nail to make working on the cuticles easier. It helps to soften dry tissues and small flakes, which aids in achieving a clean and neat nail plate before the application of polish. Unlike harsh products, the emollient works gently, respecting the balance of the skin and nail.

The emollient is applied to clean, dry nails, using one drop per nail. After a few seconds, the cuticles become more flexible and can be easily pushed back with a cuticle pusher. Then simply wipe off the excess to prepare the nail for the manicure.

No. The emollient is designed to soften the cuticles so they can be pushed back, without needing to cut them. Cutting weakens the skin and can cause small injuries, whereas pushing back preserves the nail's natural barrier.

No. A gel-like aqueous emollient does not contain any fatty substances. It does not leave an oily film on the nail and does not interfere with the adhesion of polishes or the application of semi-permanent ones.

Yes, you do! Before your start to apply your nail polish, remove any excess product with a cotton pad and then remove any oil from the nail with Green Flash™ Nail Oil Remover or Nail Polish Remover.

Yes. Once the excess is removed and the nail surface is degreased, you can apply a Green™ polish or a Green Flash™ semi-permanent polish without risk of peeling or poor tenue.

Using it once a week is enough to keep cuticles soft, the nail contour clean, and an ideal base for the manicure, without weakening the skin.

An emollient water hydrates and softens the skin around the nail. A cuticle emollient uses this action to gently loosen cuticles and dead skin, making it easier to push them back and achieve a more precise nail preparation.
