- Apply your nail polish using the 4-coat rule: always start with one coat of base coat (Green™ or Green Flash™), followed by two coats of colour. If you use Green Flash™ gel polish, cure each coat under an LED lamp for flawless wear and incomparable shine.
- Add a touch of magic: apply the Manucurist biodegradable glitter (12 shades to choose from) with a brush for more precision or directly with your finger for a more “spontaneous” effect. Gently distribute it in a gradient or as an even pearlescent surface, depending on the desired result.
- Seal in the glitter: set the nail art by applying a layer of top coat suited to the polish used.

A successful glitter manicure is about more than choosing the right polish: it starts with careful preparation and is maintained like a piece of jewellery... Here are our tips for keeping your nails sparkling for longer, without compromising on polish wear time or nail health.
Prep your nails before applying polish
Just like a beauty routine, nail preparation is essential to reveal the radiance of your manicure. First, adjust the shape of your nails using a nail file: oval for timeless elegance, square for a bold look, stiletto for a glamorous effect… The choice is yours!
Then, work on the nail contour: push back the cuticles using a cuticle pusher and a little cuticle softener. Finally, buff the surface of the nail with a prep file and degrease with a little nail cleanser or a gentle remover.
Choose professional accessories
The right tools make all the difference, allowing for both more precise application and a more professional result. Use a fine brush to precisely draw simple shapes, a Mani stamper for a flawless French manicure every time, and a dotting tool for polka dots.

How do you remove glitter polish without damaging your nails?
Glitter nail polishes may seem harder to remove, but don’t panic: the solution is simple and effective.
First, choose a bio-based nail polish formula, such as Green™ or Green Flash™, with a high percentage of naturally derived ingredients that enables gentle removal, without filing or acetone.
To remove polish, use a gentle acetone-free remover such as Green Flash™ Gentle Remover. Soak cotton pads in it and hold them on the nails using removal clips or aluminium foil wraps. Leave on for the required time: with Green Flash™ remover, allow 1 to 2 min to remove Green™ or Green Flash™ polish, or 10 min if you have applied a Top Coat Xtrem Flash™.
Result: the polish dissolves on its own or peels off (for Green Flash™ polish). All that’s left is to remove any residue with a cotton pad soaked in remover, without scraping, and moisturise with a few drops of Green Oil! Your nails are clean and ready for their next sparkling manicure.
