A successful glitter manicure depends not only on the choice of polish: it starts with careful preparation and is maintained like a jewel... Here are our tips to make your nails sparkle longer, without compromising the polish’s long tenue or the health of your nails.
Prepare your nails before applying polish
As with any beauty routine, preparing your nails is essential to reveal the shine of your manicure. First, shape your nails using a nail file: oval for timeless elegance, square for a bold look, stiletto for a glamorous effect… The choice is yours!
Then, work on the edges: push back the cuticles using a cuticle pusher and a bit of emollient. Finally, buff the nail surface with a preparatory file and degrease with a little degreaser or a gentle remover.

How to remove glitter polish without damaging your nails?
Glitter polishes may seem harder to remove but don’t worry, the solution is simple and effective.
Prefer a biosourced polish formula like Green™ or Green Flash™, with a maximum of natural-origin ingredients that promotes a gentle removal, without sanding or acetone.
To remove the polish, use a gentle remover without acetone like Green Flash™ Gentle Remover. Soak cotton pads with it and hold them on the nails using removal clips or aluminum foil wraps. Leave on for the required time: with Green Flash™ remover, count 1 to 2 minutes to remove Green™ or Green Flash™ polish, 10 minutes if you applied an Xtrem Flash™ Top Coat.
Result: the polish dissolves on its own or peels off (for Green Flash™ polish). All that's left is to remove the residue with a cotton pad soaked in remover, without scraping, and to hydrate with a few drops of Green Oil! Your nails are clean, ready for their next sparkling manicure.
