Professional nail file: 2 sides for gentle filing or a more intense grit. Our professionals love it!

Effective Emollient : its gel-texture formula, 97% bio-based and enriched with glycerin, allows precise application all around the nail edge.

Cuticle pusher : made from stainless steel, it cleans very easily with alcohol and is the essential professional accessory for a perfect nail edge!

Prep file : designed with two grit types, the fine grit (Manucurist logo side) is ideal for fingernails and the coarser grit is perfect for toenails.

Step 1: Shorten nails (if needed)
Use the more abrasive side of the white file (the one without the Manucurist logo) to shorten your nails. Without ever filing back and forth, start by filing the sides, then the top of the nail to create a balanced shape.

Step 2: Soften the shape
Use the less abrasive side of the white file (the one with the Manucurist logo) to smooth and finish the desired shape.

Step 3: Soften the nail contour
Take some 97% bio-sourced emollient using the dropper and apply it all around each nail contour. Leave on for 2 minutes.

Step 4: Push back cuticles
Use the steel cuticle pusher to push back the nail contour, keeping the tip of the tool as parallel to the nail as possible. Generally, start with the rounded end and finish removing any remaining dead skin with the straight end.

Step 5: Prep the nail for polish application
Then take the prep file to gently buff the surface of the nail in one direction only.

Step 6: Degrease the nail before application
Soak a cotton pad with nail polish remover to clean and degrease your nails before applying a Base Coat. Washing your hands is not recommended, as your nails may stay too moist and the Base Coat might not adhere as well.

Wash your hands thoroughly and apply Green Oil, Complete Serum, or our Hand Cream.
