Apply cuticle remover to the nail contour. Wait a few seconds and then gently push back the cuticles with the cuticle pusher. If needed, follow with the cuticle nippers.

"La livraison s'est parfaitement passée et tout à fait conforme à ma commande. J'ai testé 3 couleurs sur les 5 que j'avais choisies. Points positifs : la lampe premium est parfaite et la dépose hyper simple ! Points améliorables : la pose des couleurs est un peu plus délicate qu'avec des vernis semi-permanents classiques car les couches se travaillent moins longtemps : il faut poser, tirer et ne plus trop retoucher. La réalité des couleurs par rapport à ce que l'on voit sur le site est un peu différente : par exemple, je trouve que les teintes Freckles et Khaki sont bien plus claires posées que sur les photos du site. Au global, ce sont de bons produits."

How many drops of Cuticle Remover do I need to use?

One drop of Cuticle Remover per nail is enough.
Should you cut the cuticles after application?

No. The emollient is designed to soften the cuticles so they can be pushed back, without needing to cut them. Cutting weakens the skin and can cause small injuries, whereas pushing back preserves the nail's natural barrier.
Is the emollient greasy?

No. A gel-like aqueous emollient does not contain any fatty substances. It does not leave an oily film on the nail and does not interfere with the adhesion of polishes or the application of semi-permanent ones.
Do you need to remove the excess before applying nail polish?

Yes, you do! Before your start to apply your nail polish, remove any excess product with a cotton pad and then remove any oil from the nail with Green Flash™ Nail Oil Remover or Nail Polish Remover.
Can you apply polish after an emollient?

Yes. Once the excess is removed and the nail surface is degreased, you can apply a Green™ polish or a Green Flash™ semi-permanent polish without risk of peeling or poor tenue.
How often should you use a cuticle emollient?

Using it once a week is enough to keep cuticles soft, the nail contour clean, and an ideal base for the manicure, without weakening the skin.
Can pregnant and/or breastfeeding women use your nail care range?

Our nail care formulas are green and clean: they are up to 99% plant-based, i.e. made from biomass ingredients like aloe vera, lemon, ginseng, pomegranate and grape. However, women should avoid all types of nail polish when they are pregnant or breastfeeding. We recommend you speak to a healthcare professional if you are unsure.
Can using your nail care products cause allergies?

Our nail care formulas meet European standards and do not contain any sensitising substances. They are also certified gluten-free and safe for people with gluten intolerance or celiac disease, as are our Green Flash™, Green™ and Active™ ranges. Most customers who are allergic to regular nail care products are not allergic to the Manucurist nail care range. However, as allergic reactions are not specifically linked to chemical ingredients, they can sometimes occur with plant-based ingredients. We recommend you speak to a healthcare professional if you are unsure.
