How to use Complete Serum?

Use before your manicure for perfectly hydrated, prepped nails, or as a post-manicure treatment to add shine.
Apply a few drops to the nail and nail contour. Massage in until absorbed. Wash and dry your nails thoroughly if you're going to apply nail polish.

What's the difference between Nourishing Cuticle Oil, Complete Serum and Precious Oil?

Which product is more hydrating: your Complete Serum or Green Oil? What is the difference?

Our Complete Serum has a water-based formula that contains powerful hydrating agents, while our Green Oil is made from botanical oils that deeply nourish the nail. For maximum hydration, we recommend our Complete Serum. To deeply nourish, use our Green Oil.

When should I apply Complete Serum?

Complete Serum can be applied to manicured nails and the surrounding skin at any time of day to nourish your nails and boost hydration. First, apply the Complete Serum to bare nails, then lock in the hydration with a drop of Green Oil before massaging it in to help it penetrate. If you're taking a break from nail polish, wait until your Sunshine Top Coat is dry and then apply a drop of Green Oil to the base of each nail, massaging it into the skin to help it penetrate.

Can Complete Serum be rinsed off?

Complete Serum cannot be rinsed off. This nourishing, moisturising treatment penetrates the surface of the nail and surrounding skin to work deep within.

Should I leave Complete Serum on to let it work?

Complete Serum must be massaged in to penetrate the surface of the nail and surrounding skin. This treatment is not rinsed off.

Can pregnant and/or breastfeeding women use your nail care range?

Our nail care formulas are green and clean: they are up to 99% plant-based, i.e. made from biomass ingredients like aloe vera, lemon, ginseng, pomegranate and grape. However, women should avoid all types of nail polish when they are pregnant or breastfeeding. We recommend you speak to a healthcare professional if you are unsure.

Can using your nail care products cause allergies?

Our nail care formulas meet European standards and do not contain any sensitising substances. They are also certified gluten-free and safe for people with gluten intolerance or celiac disease, as are our Green Flash™, Green™ and Active™ ranges. Most customers who are allergic to regular nail care products are not allergic to the Manucurist nail care range. However, as allergic reactions are not specifically linked to chemical ingredients, they can sometimes occur with plant-based ingredients. We recommend you speak to a healthcare professional if you are unsure.
