The treatment base coat to repair and strengthen very damaged, brittle or splitting nails.

Base S.O.S restores and strengthens the nail plate thanks to its highly concentrated formula with AHAs, vitamin C, vitamin B5 and hexanal. A true bandage for fragile, brittle and/or nails damaged by traditional gel polish, it gently exfoliates to stimulate cell regeneration, strengthen keratin fibres and visibly improve the appearance of the nail.

After 3 weeks of use, the nail plate is restored, and nails are visibly harder and healthier.

This 78% bio-sourced nail care base, rich in AHAs, vitamin C, vitamin B5 and hexanal, hydrates and strengthens nails from the first application. Ideal between 2 applications of harsh nail polish (such as traditional semi-permanent polish or classic gel), one week of treatment is enough for regenerated nails!

Can treatment base coats be used as a base before applying my Green™ or Green Flash™ nail polish?

Treatment base coats can be used as the base for your Green™ manicure.

However, they cannot replace the Green Flash™ base coat, which cures under an LED lamp.
How many coats should you apply for a treatment base?

One coat is enough.
When reapplying a treatment base, do you need to remove the previous layer?

When doing a course of treatment, there is no need to remove the previous layer.
Is it recommended to use a treatment base coat under Green Flash™?

For optimal wear, it is not recommended to use a base coat other than Base Coat Green Flash™.
Can treatment bases be removed with the Green Flash™ remover?

All treatment bases are removed just like our nail polishes, with our Dissolving Oil or our Green Flash™ remover.
Which nail care is best suited to my nail type?

What is the difference between the S.O.S Base and the Force Base?

The S.O.S Base is designed for brittle nails weakened by external aggressions: frequent gel manicures, excessive filing or buffing, overexposure to chemicals... The Force Base is designed for soft nails that tend to bend or fold easily.

Can pregnant and/or breastfeeding women use the skincare range?

The skincare formulas are green and clean: they are bio-sourced up to 99%, meaning they are made from ingredients derived from biomass such as aloe vera, lemon, ginseng, pomegranate and grape. However, all nail polish, regardless of its nature, should be avoided by pregnant women or breastfeeding mothers. If in doubt, we invite you to consult your doctor.
Can using nail care products cause allergies?

Our care formulas are compliant with European regulations and do not contain sensitising substances. They are also certified gluten-free and safe for people who are gluten intolerant or have coeliac disease, just like the Green Flash™, Green™, and Active™ ranges. Most customers who have experienced allergies with conventional nail care products do not have any with the Manucurist care range. However, since allergic reactions are not exclusively linked to synthetic ingredients, they can sometimes occur with plant-based ingredients as well. If you have any doubts, we advise you to consult your doctor.
