It is therefore quite natural that we have chosen to commit ourselves during the whole month of October to the association Ribbon Rose which raises awareness of early detection of breast cancer, supports and collects funds for research in this field.

Prevention is better than cure!
It is estimated that one woman in eight is affected by breast cancer during her lifetime. First cause of death by cancer in women, this disease affects each year more than 58 500 people and kills more than 12 000.
The good news is that early detection of the disease can cure 9 out of 10 cancers. 😃
The bad news is that only 1 out of 2 women is screened. 😩
In order to encourage a maximum of women - whatever their age - to be screened, the association Ruban Rose organizes, each year, the campaign October Rosecampaign, which aims to raise public awareness of early detection and to raise funds for research.
