PROTOCOL

STEP 1: PREPARE*
- Filing nails.
- Push the skins back from the nail contour.
- Slightly sand the nail surface with a finalizer.
- Soak a "Wipe" (square of non-woven cellulose) with DEGREASER. Clean the nail and the free edge.
- For a three-week hold or difficult nails, apply a thin layer of BOND BASE in line on the free edge of the nail. For more details see the American Nails blog.
- Apply a thin layer of BASE & TOP, or NUTRIBASE or VITALBASE EASY OFF depending on the technique chosen.
- Cure for 2 minutes under UV light or 30 seconds under LED light.
- Degrease with CLEANER with a "Wipe" if you have used BASE & TOP. If using VITALBASE EASY OFF or NUTRIBASE, apply the colour directly without degreasing.

* After nailing, go directly to step 2.

STEP 2: COLORING
- Shake the bottle. Apply the first coat of PermanentLAC colour to all nails.
- Cure for 2 minutes under UV light or 30 seconds under LED light.
- Apply the 2nd coat of PermanentLAC colour and respect the same times as before.

STEP 3: FIX
- Do not degrease and apply directly a coat of BASE & TOP.
- Cure for 2 minutes under UV light or 60 seconds under LED light.

STEP 4: REVEAL THE BRILLIANCE
- Degrease with CLEANER on a "Wipe".
- Care for the nail contour, apply HONEY OIL or LIGHT OIL and massage the nail contour.

STEP 5: MELTING STEP
- Dullen the first layer of gel and dissolve with the TOTAL REMOVER. Melting time between 5 and 15 minutes.

IMPORTANT: During the entire installation process, PermanentLAC coats must be applied very thin and edged.

RECOMMENDATION :
Re-fill all nails before passing under the lamp or work nail by nail by flashing a few seconds under the lamp. This advice is valid for all layers.

THE APPLICATION

STEP 1: REMOVE THE FINISH
- File the top coat.

STEP 2: WRAP

- Wait between 5 to 15 minutes. The waiting time depends on the base chosen and the thickness of the layers applied.

STEP 3: REMOVE
- Unroll the papillote and push without forcing with a pusher or a stick.
- Pass the finalizer.

FAQS

HOW TO CHOOSE THE BASE?
A table on our website can provide you with useful information. Please note that you can have 3 bases including 2 care bases. The PERMENTLAC system adapts to the needs of all women.

WHY SHOULD THE BASE BOND NOT BE APPLIED TO THE ENTIRE NAIL?
The application would be too long and the grip in the keratin of the nail too important, the PERMAMENTLAC does not need such a deep grip to hold well. Nevertheless, if the nails are fragile, if the client regularly damages them or if she wishes to wear them for 3 weeks, the BOND BASE can be useful but only if you put it on the edge of the nail, where you tuck it in.

WHAT SHOULD WE DO IF THE NAILS ARE VERY DAMAGED?
Pass the finalizer, disinfect and pass the DEGREASER (the latter restores the PH of the nail and improves the preparation) apply the BOND BASE on the edge of the nail and choose the base that will best suit the client, in this case the NUTRIBASE and if their surface has irregularities applied following a coat of RESCUE EASY GEL.

WHY DO WE HAVE TO APPLY VERY FINE BASES?
Bases, finishes and colour coats must be laid thin to hold it firmly, it is preferable to apply an additional colour coat to obtain better coverage. Too thick layers can peel off quickly.

WHY DO YOU ADVISE TO APPLY EACH LAYER BY FLASHING NAIL BY NAIL UNDER THE LAMPS?
Unlike varnish, which begins to dry on the nail as soon as it is applied, the bases, tops and colours of semi-permanent gel varnishes remain mobile and are only fixed if a polymerisation is started. This is the guarantee of a good fit, the nail must of course be trimmed beforehand. Flashing: put the nail under a lamp for a few seconds.

I HAVE A 6 W LED LAMP, WHAT IS THE RECOMMENDED CURING TIME?
A 6 watt lamp is not considered professional equipment, you must double the exposure time to 60 seconds.

WHAT IS THE RECOMMENDED POWER TO WORK WELL WITH PERMANENT VARNISHES?
For an LED lamp, between 18 watts and 36 watts. For a UV lamp, the 36 watt lamp is recommended.

THE RESULT IS NO LONGER BRILLIANT ENOUGH, WHY?
- Over time, the tubes of the lamps weaken, the polymerization is painful or incomplete, change your lamps or tubes.
- The coats were applied too thick.
- The top coat has not been applied.

I HAVE DETACHMENTS ON THE NAIL CONTOUR?
The products have slipped into the skins:
- Do not extend beyond the nail and do not touch the skins during the application of the various products.
- Before passing under the lamp, remove the gel that could have slipped into the skins with a stick.

SOME CUSTOMERS DO NOT HOLD THEIR SEMI-PERMANENT GEL VARNISH FOR MORE THAN 10 DAYS.
Your lamps are defective:
- Change the UV tubes regularly, every 6 months for moderate use, every 3 months for intensive use.
- The LED bulbs cannot be changed at the moment, it will be necessary to consider the purchase of a new lamp, while waiting to double the curing time.
- Exposure times are not respected, count for each layer, 2 minutes under UV, 30 seconds under LED.
- Apply the BOND BASE after preparation, followed by the base of your choice.

SOME CLIENTS HAVE FLAKES ON ONE OR MORE NAILS, WHY?
- The coats were applied too thick or not properly tucked in.
- They strain their nails too much and wear out the tip, in this case, apply the BOTTOM BASE on the edge of the nail.

THE DEPOSIT IS TOO LONG AND EXCEEDS 15 MINUTES.
- The client has nails that are too porous, switch to VITALBASE EASY OFF base.
- The coats were applied too thick.
- File off the top coat before placing the wraps.
